Feeling Brave

I know many of you take your kids with you everywhere. I try to most of the time but I have to admit I enjoy a little time to myself. Well, yesterday I decided to be brave and take both kids with me to my monthly OB appt. This appt was just the typical pee in the cup, step on the scale, and listen to the heartbeat appt, so I wasn't too worried about how long we'd be there. And I have to say they did pretty good. They were actually "shushing" me in the waiting room as I was trying to talk to a friend across the room. We got called back fairly quickly and went to our room to wait for the Dr. L and L investigated the room and were really interested in the stirrups at the foot of the table. We read a few magazines and then the Dr was there. They liked hearing the heartbeat and Landon asked the Dr if he was going to take "Leroy" out. Umm, not today!

After the Dr appt, the three of us headed to LR to the mall. I needed a dress for this weekend and I figured I might as well take them with me. We ate lunch at Chik-fil-A (is there anywhere else?) and made our stop at the bribery station (AKA the cookie shop). After I spent an arm and a leg on cookies we hobbled down to Motherhood. I think I tried on every dress in the store and finally settled on two that I liked. Checking out took forever, but we finally were on our way home. I managed to keep them awake on the way home by passing every care between LR and home. L and L kept saying "Pass the [insert color here] car Mommy! GO GO GO! Yea Mommy, you did it."

We were home by naptime and the kiddos slept for 2 hours...it was a wonderful day! Maybe I'll try this bravery thing again.

Our Little Dragon

Landon started his martial arts class Tuesday night and let me just say it was a hoot to watch! Five 3 year olds running around kicking things and two instructors trying to keep them under control!

He did have to start his first night without his uniform. But, it didn't seem to slow him down.

We picked up his uniform after class and of course as soon as we got home, he had to try it on.

What do ya think about his stance? What about this one???

And don't worry, Lainey isn't getting left out. Her dance class hasn't started yet. As soon as we get her going there will be a post dedicated to her. Until then, here is a shot of her being just like big brother.

What's in a Name????

Well, for weeks now we have tried to come up with names for Wyatt #3. So far L and L are referring to him/her as "Leroy" and that is getting a few strange looks from people. Todd and I have been trying to come up with something, but the fact that we won't know whether this is a girl or boy until the big day has made the name game a little harder. And of course, we both have to agree to love the name...making things more complicated. Although, I may pull the "I'm the one having this kid, I get to pick the name" card. We'll see how things go. So, for now, we are taking suggestions. Got any???

Wild River Country

We headed out yesterday with several of our friends to a water park in LR. We got there when it opened and stayed just about all day. Let's just say L and L were asleep before we got out of the parking lot! We all had a great time and no one got sunburned!!!

Landon "borrowed" this ball from some poor child. He played with it all afternon. I hope they got it back!

Why is his head so wet?!?!

Ok, so maybe it has been a while since my last post...I really do have good intentions. But, you can guess how that goes. Well, anyway, I'm going to try this whole blogging thing again. Who knows, maybe I'll actually keep up with it.

We love summertime here at the Wyatt house. Playing outside, late afternoon naps, and of course popsicles!!! LC and LE were enjoying a green and pink one the other evening, outside of course. After the popsicle, they wanted to play outside for a while, and after the bug spray was brought out, we were good to go. Todd's parents were here and we were all enjoying a great evening outside. Soon after, LC announced that he needed to go pee-pee and being the rednecks were are, we let him go right off the porch. All was good, and he contiuned to play. A few minutes later, he was up on the porch entertaining himself by jumping off. Anyway, he missed once, and landed head first in the grass. Of course he was upset and I jumped up to pick him up. As soon as I did I noticed how wet his head was! I couldn't figure it out...until we realized he had fallen right where he had done his business. Long story short, we went in for baths and we all learned that when peeing outside, we should choose our spots wisely!

Hi All...

Well, I guess we are jumping on the bandwagon and getting our own little piece of the internet. What can I say, I'm such a follower! All is well here in Wyatt Land...Lainey and Landon are napping and I'm taking a break from cleaning the house.

Hope everyone is doing well and I'll try to add some pictures next time.

Have a great Friday!!!!!
